Dear Readers…

Dear Readers,
First, I would like to thank all of you for visiting and reading my humble blog. I value each and every one of you. The fact that there are people out there who read and enjoy the things I write is a source of immense joy to me. And I thank you for that gift.
Later today, I will be posting a Christmas story. It has a long and personal history for me and truth be told, it is, of all the stories I have written, my favorite.
It is rather long and I considered posting it in installments over the next several days because of that. However, I have decided to post it in its entirety today. For those interested in reading it, you may find you have to come back a few times to read the entire story - or you may find you want to read it all at once. (Secretly, I hope you do).
I hope you do enjoy it. Have a very Merry Christmas and I hope that all your Christmas wishes do come true.
Much love,
sarah

Read your story first and then saw this one. Yes, I was astounded myself, I usually don’t like reading long things on the computer however your story is so good I forgot I was even sitting at it.
Spas, I will take that as high praise. I’m glad the story distracted you about the time - that must mean I did something right with it.

Sarah…you bring such magic to my life through your stories –and not just during the holidays.
Thank you ~

Sarah,
Anyway, I liked the poem and decided to visit the rest of the blog.
When I logged into Wordpress today, a link to your entry “I Gave My Love⦔ was at the top of the page as “Blog of the Minute.” I must confess that I clicked mostly because of the adorable image of a pony with wings.
I’m glad I did. I read the next four posts and decided that I really needed to leave a comment to tell you that I appreciated everything. This Christmas season I’ve had a “change of heart” and it’s encouraging to hear about other’s experiences, real or fiction. (Another one of those non-coincidences. I once heard someone say, “there are no coincidences, only God-incidences.”)
And your writing is wonderful. As a writer myself (you wouldn’t know it by my blog), I want to let you know that in all those posts, I was pulled along by your content and hardly even stopped to think about the writing itself. (I have a hard time reading anything that makes me edit every other line in my head.)

Sorry about the long comment, but like I said, I really wanted to let you know that I was touched. You’ll be on my blogroll in the next five minutes or so.
Thanks for being online,
~ Tolana
P.S. My blog is lame. I think one co-worker reads it, and that’s the audience I usually have in mind when I post. Just wanted to make that disclaimer in case you visit.
Tolana, what a sweet and unexpected christmas gift you have given me with these comments. i’m so glad you decided to stay for a visit. as you can probably tell i love christmas and i would probably write about it all year long if anyone would stand for it. how wonderful tht you’ve had a real life change of heart, i am so happy for you. and i think you’re right, things do happen for a reason.
i will be on my way to visit your blog.
thank you so much for your sweet comments and merry christmas.
