A Moment
The laughter of the sun
hums and buzzes like
the honey bees hovering
the orange tree in
my backyard.
A blanket of cool, green grass
spreads out lazily
and sighs the summer day.
My pencil to paper
and mind to idle thoughts
drink in the moment
like sweet tea.
