you may be right. it is a part of life. it is ironic though, that most holidays have as part of their history, loss of loved ones in one form or another.
It fills my heart that so many remember those who give us freedom. You’re no exception to that.

i think a lot people think it’s old fashioned to feel that way - or somehow out of touch or not hip. but i think that we all need to remember where we came from and who made room for us. i am humbled by total strangers who would defend me, my family & loved ones and my country. i pray for them all.
