Scribbles

Scribbles on a page
chronicle my route
pave my journey
from the sublime
to the ridiculous

Stupid musings
and profound thoughts
litter the pages
of my messy notebook

My notebook contains tons of stupid musings but very little in the profound thought catagory.

well, i have a feeling that there are more profound thoughts in there than you might admit.

I would think that you must have an incredibly interesting notebook Sarah. I think I would enjoy reading such a book, but it would also be like reading someone’s soul and would have to be treated with profound respect.

    Jennifer

aw jennifer, what a sweet thing to say. although, if you looked at it, you might change your mind. your first challenge would be in trying to read it - my handwriting is terrible and i have a funny little shorthand too. lol.

Once Jennifer is done, send it my way ;-)
Have to admit that my notebooks have become files in folders.
Takes the romance right out if, ha?

    Nice poem.

    lol s…
you’d like that wouldn’t you? having all that blackmail material. seriously though, i’m not sure anyone could decipher my strange notes - i can barely do it myself.

I’ve definatly got the “stupid musings” part down… hopefuly one day will get tto the profound thoughts

oh ozy, don’t disparage yourself - much of what you write is very deep and thought provoking. i’ve seen it with my own eyes. :) sarah

nothing better than a writer’s mind scribbled all over paper, no?
mine goes like this: one page will have a sentence on it, with an arrow pointing to a word on the other page and then underlined and then the A’s will all be colored in… you get the idea. this was a great poem to describe that, one that i relate to, i’m sure we all do. hope you’re doing well. i’m becoming quite the blog slacker. i just don’t know where the time goes.

    kimmie,
i loved the description of your notebook. maybe is should get some colored pencils too.

ps: dont even get me started on blog slacking i am very guilty of that one. :(

Your journal is your soul’s jewelry box. I personally think you should publish your art and your notebook, Sarah. Missing you but never forgetting you. Much love, Ali

    oh hi ali!
i miss you too. lol - publish my notebook? i’m not sure i’m prepared for that kind of revelation.
    much love & hugs,
    sarah

If I could find a good realization from a scrap of paper, I would frame it. No telling how many lives have been changed forever by a piece of paper.

oh tom you have plenty of things you could frame. truly.
