I remember those butterfly in the stomach days, it was like going to battle or somethin’.

yes, that is aptly put. are you self employed also, tom? i’m curious, what kind of work do you do?

I think it’s so great that you are going for it. It makes me nervous just thinking about trying something like that. Maybe one day I will. Let us know how it goes.
    I’m sure you’ll be fabulous.

    hi kim,
yes, it is nerve wracking - hope it works. my dream come true would be to have so much work that i would have to ask my other writer friends to help me out. actually, that’s my overall plan.

Whew! I’ve changed employment many times, but I was most afraid when, late last year, I decided to go freelance. I wasn’t sure I’d make it without the regular pay.

I think changing careers, going self-employed or freelance really does that — put butterflies in our stomach.

    Nice one, Sarah.

hi brainteaser - you were brave and it must have worked out since from your language it sounds as though you stuck it out. good for you. it gives me hope.
