Morning Walk

Posted at 7:37 pm under Creative Writing, Life, Poetry, original fiction

My mind wanders
and triple axels
through the cacaphony
of color and sun
heat and breeze
freet crunch
eyes roam
blue sky
comforts

Cacophony is such a lyrical word and you used it well here.

isn’t it wonderful? sometimes i just say it out loud several times just to hear it.

Sarah, how do u get the appropriate photographs for the posts, I’ve got the habit of posting photographs for the posts i make on the site, so do u click them yourself or search for them on the internet?

    hi vamsi,
sometimes i snap them myself but often i find them in google images or images that friends send.

You can’t beat a walk away from everywhere to soothe your mind!
That lane looks so much like the ones near my home in Burgundy!

    hello robaire!
yes, i agree - a walk can be transforming.

Hello, Sarah. I’m stopping in via Billy the Blogging Poet. I enjoyed reading your Walking poem, especially these 2 lines:

    “and triple axels
    through the cacaphony”

very fresh/original and the thought of a mind doing triple axels is exhilarating and makes me think of spontaneous joyfulness! Just love it..:) I plan on coming back. Stay inspired!

hello janetleigh and thank you for visiting. i’m afraid i don’t know billy but leave his url for me and i will be sure to drop by and say thank you.

i’m glad you enjoyed the poem - i like to play with words that don’t seem to fit together and see if i can coax them.

    sarah
