The Triumph of Roses

The triumph of roses
speak in thorny response
the ambition of sunshine
sings its own secret song
the greed of life
whispers to innnocent ears
flights of fancy chuckle
as they zoom past
the buffoonary of butterflies
the wisdom of the sky dances
in cerulean blue everlasting.

Nothing says summer like roses basking in the sunshine and the butterflies flitting by. I can almost smell them….
