The Enemy

Posted at 12:22 pm under Poetry, dark, noise, the muse, words without pity

Words
the enemy
cutting
fresh blood and
new bruises
Shining the
light
darkly
on the mess
that is
Me
Gouging
fairy
tales
and happy
endings
Laughing at
self-deceit
Crying
I catch them
scratching at
mind
begging entry
to
wreak
wicked
schemes
Promising to
behave
and splash
beautiful
images across
pages
In the last
moment
they dash to
their own freakish
nightmare
and drag me
screaming
along with
Them.

    Hi sarah,

There’s so much that I identify with in that dark side. I think I learn so much about me if I let it flow. I learn so much about me with other peoples dark side to. Funny creatures arn’t we. I will do DARK, at times, just at times nowadays.I think theres a real pretty beauty in the sharing of the dark.I find that peple who are wiling to share dark stuff must feel pretty safe and secure within. Theres a way of sharing the dark without negativity. I haven’t come that far (yet)

Urmmm !! I’m wondering If I could write something dark whilst I’m not feeling dark. Its doubtful

Thank you for saying you like me to visit. Aww!! I feel welcome. Its beautiful to come and read your poetry. The waterfall is brilliant, the sound of the singing water and twittering birds soothe me. I’m glad you pointed it out to me, I never saw it, I walk around with my eyes closed. Thank you sarah. Your very clever with all this stuff arn’t you.

    Eyes Wide Shut.

    hi di,
that’s an interesting view, i’d never have thought that someone who shares their dark is a sign of safe and secure within but i think you may have a point. i don’t know if you could write dark while not feeling that way, i think so, all of our past experiences are available to us and we want to tap into that, we should be able to.

of course i love to have you visit - always. and i’m glad you liked the waterfall - it’s silly perhaps but i love it too.

    love
    sarah
