Joy

Posted at 4:14 pm under Love, Poetry, amazing, joy, my heart

The missing piece to
the puzzle
The words I needed
to complete the thought
The sunshine that was
just behind the clouds
The photograph I
never framed but always
Kept
The rose petals that
lead to my door

    aww!! sarah.

I loved the title, Its funny what we read istantly and think we’ve read something when we haven’t.

I read this feeling in your poem and I love the title but the title in my head which I thought I read wasn’t ‘Joy’ It was ‘The missing piece’ I thought your first line was the title and I was going to comment on that but its not your title.

    Shucks !! Hehe!!

I loved the first line and really loved Joy really do love joy.

Thank you for your Joy in poems and for all your first lines for that matter. Smiling. My poem is under a post called Recovery again - withdrawel. Its a pretty heavy story but it lovely to. Its on my first page on my blog.

    Love
    Di

The pictures is amazing. I really do love that picture.

well di perhaps you picked up on my thoughts - i did consider naming it that but felt joy was more what i wanted to say. i will have to find that poem - perhaps i am passing right by it without realizing it. thanks as always, for reading, di.

Romantic, enigmatic, you feel a urge to caress the thoughts behind but then again, your words are assuring in themselves that the realization will dawn without warning…peace at last in the troublesome world of melancholy despite having it all. Mesmerizing, Sarah.

    hi tom,
i’m always delighted when i see your name in the comments box. thank you for seeing what lies behind the words - yes, peace at last.
