Poetry Readings
I had a lot of fun with these, though they aren’t the greatest readings or quality, I suppose you have to start somewhere. Hopefully, I’ll get better as I go along. Hope you enjoy them.

Oh Sarah … thank you! It’s like going to poetry reading! Make it a regular feature? Maybe a once-a-week (or month) where you pick your favorite and read it? So nice to hear, it adds to the words, like seasoning to a sauce. Thank you!

well you’re quite welcome gerry, i’m glad you enjoyed them. yes, i will be adding more as i learn more about the process. i’m not completely happy with the quality but i have friend who is a musician who may be able to teach me a few audio tricks for better tonal quality. that being said, it’s fun actually to read my own words to my readers. i really like it.

hi you! lol - yes, i suppose they aren’t bad for a first attempt - trying to learn the software and not rush through the readings - though they sound very different online than they do from my computer which is puzzling. you’ve missed little. it will be easy for you to catch up. so good to see you here.
hugs

What a beautiful voice.
I’ve just listen to Two Women and was secertly smiling all the way through it. The words so beautifuly put together touched my heart and the voice - how it spoke the words touched my heart to.

hello di, i don’t object in the least to your return. talking to myself was about love and how we deny it to ourselves. i’m glad you found something in it for yourself. i wonder who i sound like - i am american, so that makes sense.

It the first time I have listened to poetry on a Podcast like this. It is much better than reading it.
Well done!!
hello again, nick,
i found the pods to be a challenge, i’m still not happy with the readings - but i agree it is a different experience to hear the writer connect with their own words and speak them - i enjoy listening to pods as well - i think it gives the reader an additional element to the work. thanks for listening.
